About The Artwork
The 1.5 thick edges have been painted so there is no need to frame this painting (but it can be done if you want). I was inspired by being on Venice Beach (S. Ca, USA) seeing the tall, skinny palm trees with their big tops reminded me of Dr. Seuss' illustrations of trees. I loved that I could see the mountains while I was on the beach! The sunsets were a knockout and had to be captured. I painted the flowers (that bloom wild everywhere) applying the paint thickly with my FINGERS! It was so fun! Bring some bright colors and fun into your house!
