I listened to The Eagles song at least a dozen times over while creating this. Many references to the song, and my interpretation. We assume that it is a male telling the story, when it could well be a female. The mission bell, shimmering lights, the doorway, Tiffany-Twisted, summer sweat, such a lovely face.

In high school, I focused more on photography, but soon got back into painting and drawing. I studied graphic design for a little over a year at IFAC (International Fine Arts Institute) in Miami, before switching to a full time study of architecture. I fell in love with the challenges and complexity of architecture, and took my career on that path. Today, I own my own architecture firm, Herrera Studio. My entire life, I have continued to enjoy painting and hand drawing.
