I have been a working artist for over 30 years and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California State Northridge. I preferred working with metal and wood sculpture and a variety of painting techniques. I have taken that training, many travels and life experiences as well as my vision, and creates positive energy through art. I've produced and has participated in multiple art exhibitions throughout the Dallas area, was represented by Studio Fling Gallery and was featured 3 times in the art section of Town Square, a local Dallas magazine. Since returning to Los Angeles, I have participated in multiple exhibitions throughout the Los Angeles area and curated Pop-Up art shows under the name of Black and White Gallery, been a member of 57 Underground and participated in many two-person and solo exhibitions. I recently closed a solo show at Dysonna City Art Gallery. I've recently started an online art site and gallery, Illumination Gallery, to assist emerging artists with their careers. I love to paint and sculpt with a wide range of unique and distinctive materials ranging from resins, texture mediums, objects as well as metal and stone. I am a sculptor at heart and have a tendency to blur the lines between painting and sculpture as well as combine the two forms together frequently. I love to heavily layer paint and objects in the canvas. I find that this technique of creating 3-dimensionality on canvas allows the viewer to imagine what they may see depending on their outlook that day. My goal is to generate an uplifting energy within the viewer with each piece I create. I find it as inspiring for you to view my art as it is for me to create every work of art. The key to my art comes from deep within and is felt in every creation that I envision and produce. ENJOY!
