About The Artwork
This image was created by attaching a tube of dripping paint to a home made CNC machine which raster scanned over the board, either speeding up or slowing down respective to the electron probability density of the hydrogen atom as predicted via Schrödinger's wave equation applied to the Hydrogen atom with principal, azimuthal, and magnetic quantum numbers being 4, 2, and 1 respectively. The result of this probabilistic painting process is small bumpy lines on a glossy surface.
