ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I painted this image under the influence of the memory of the magical horror of the forest. I wanted to show a kind of loss in the dark but also a fascination with what you can't see. What is only inside ourselves. I used fluorescent blue and purple here, contrasting with black and thick texture. The picture is full of mystery and magical aura.

I'm interested in the magical world of nature presented in my paintings and graphics as the form of the saturated colour abstraction. I'm draw my inspiration from the Masurian Lakes (areas in northeastern Poland) and my birthplace - green Silesia, as well as Jablonna community where I live and create nowadays.
