VIEW IN MY ROOM
I’ve been wanted to do a painting that is true to my mental state for a while now. I know I’m not the only one who likes to suppress their feelings and let it bottled up inside, so hopefully some of you guys can relate to this piece. There’s a lot of reasons why we put on that “Im fine” face with a big smile on. Personally, I am a very guarded person so to share my true feelings with others is extremely difficult. On top of that I always thought that sharing my personal issues is a bother to others. Believe it or not, I was taught that way growing up. It became a part of who I am as an adult and that’s a challenge to break at the age of 30. Over the years I learned how to walk the middle ground. I don’t get it right all the time but that’s ok as long as I’m trying. I Learn how to put myself out there and not living in fear of getting hurt. Find different outlets to express my feelings and emotions in a healthy way. At the end of the day you have to live your truth. To be honest with yourself is to fully accept yourself for who you are, pretty and ugly. Shit happens all the time as we say it pretty often. Shitty feeling on top of another shitty feeling can be pretty overwhelming. Learn how to Process each feeling and emotion as they come is the key! ?
