This work started with the music of ‘Cry Cry Cry’, which was included in the album Everyday Life of the alternative rock band Coldplay formed in UCL in London in 1998. One day, I played this album to listen to music that breathes new breath into my daily life. Coldplay music has the magic to blow all my heavy thoughts lightly in the fastest time. This music is talking about love. Love is very good, but it becomes dull, obsessed, and sometimes overwhelming. It’s up to you if you let the same routine continue to invade your life. Art always has the skill to rethink us from such things and to make even such a difficult and impossible love beautiful. When I was drawing this picture, I tried to express that struggle. I wanted to reveal the contents of the work through the human body. Another artist who inspired this work is Hofesh Shechter, a contemporary choreographer from Israel. Hofesh Chamber's choreography is fantastically cool and creepy. The movement of the body is really light, but it is special in that it is born with the strong ego and stubbornness of a dancer. The person in my picture occurred after several trials and errors before the pose of the person shown in this picture was decided. The person shown in the picture appears to be three people with the naked eye, but I hope that all of them will be viewed as one person. Love, sadness, obsession and collapse of something, and freedom are the elements that can be felt in this painting. This painting was inspired by my favorite masterpieces of sculptors and painters. In particular,'David', a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture, is inspired by the curves of Michelangelo's marble sculpture and the depth expression of Paul Cezanne's objects.

" Colors produce the most beautiful when I most honestly reveal emotions. " I am a painter based in Seoul. The structural observation of Mother Nature through curves and primal forces is a visual element connected to musical composition techniques. I was strongly attracted to musical composition techniques, especially serialism, and at the point when I tried to use the musical forms of Messiaen and Schinberg in paintings, the perspective of representation in my paintings from looking at real objects had already changed significantly. My view of art is completely connected to Greek and Roman art and oriental calligraphy, blank space aesthetic conditions. Henri Matisse(1869-1954) still plays a guiding role in my paintings. decoration is pursued within two-dimensional synthesis. This is because I am a person who pursues purity in life. That is when I am happiest. The ultimate reason for drawing is to think deeply about how and to what extent I should act within the triangle of human will and freedom.
