View in a Room ArtworkView in a Room Background
On a 10,000 mile road trip I had encountered a campsite on the dunes of the North Carolina shore. This particular place had been a victim of recent rain filling our campsite with mosquitoes and heat. While unable to sleep all night, the torture had been broken as the sun glazed over the windshield of the car with the most magnificent array of blues, pinks, and yellows. It had been a moment to gaze and wonder.
Versions of these paintings are based off my own interpretations of memories and places. These work to recreate a mental space of the physical space they are inspired from. The viewer is asked to interpret them as they wish.

Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

The focus of my work remains in line with perception of the visible world. Regardless of my point of view, or yours, our world materializes through form and color. I explore manipulations of perceived space, time, and memories and how it changes based on an individual's perspective. The Cooper Union, New York, NY, May 2019 Thoughts on color: I love creating a diverse palette that takes shape through intuitive forms, transporting my viewers across boundaries of color, harmony, and individualized perception. Finding a sense of peace or relaxation through my art is also something I find has importance in my creation process. I find watching the paint move across my canvas with such elegance is a sight I have yet to become tired of. I have a *gentle* obsession with mixing colors and creating new palettes referenced from nature.
