ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this painting the artist used two techniques beside abstract expressionism. The first one came across when he burned kitchen paper and noticed a dotted pattern. At that time 2005 created several artworks strongly related to Aboriginal painting. In this painting he applied the specific technique on the left-down part of the canvas. He literally burned kitchen paper and attached it with gesso. The second technique is to write on cavas the same phrase repeatedly, sometimes in various languages. In this painting he wrote a dadaistic phrase "i want to be free like Maya the bee". Even though there is no bee depicted, the colors and stripes imply the existance of a bee.
