ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece took me months and months to finish. It morphed itself and then would re-morph itself. I could not come to peace with it. Finally after taking some time off from it and really taking the time to explore it's energy was I finally able to complete it. It was frustrating, maddening really but I feel with my paintings that give me the hardest time sometimes end up being my most satisfying pieces. There was a lesson to be learned here. I titled it "In-Between the Lines" because the story, the process, the many layers of color and paint is in-between the lines. You just need to look closely.
