Zdravko Luketič was born in 1956 in Maribor, Slovenia. He is married and father of three sons. He engages in activities for the common public good. In 2006 he completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of European and National Studies and obtained the title Master of Science. He was serves as Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Maribor. As a founding member of the Lions Club Maribor he is active in the field of humanitarian charity. He is also a member of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Republic of Slovenia. He entered the local art scene in 1973 when he attended the Secondary School in Maribor and was completely captivated by artistic creation. Since then his works have been part of numerous single art exhibitions and group shows at home and abroad. Among them: The 1st Collective Exhibition of Artistic Creativity of Workers: exhibition in Belgrade, Zagreb, Sarajevo and Slavonski Brod 1986, Tinje Gallery, Austria 1996, WorkArt Gallery in Graz - Austria 2005, the Knafelj House Gallery in Vienna - Austria 2005, Gallery of the Benedictine Abbey of Tihany Hungary - 2011, Gallery of the Hungarian Cultural Center of London -2013, Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts-Carrousel du Louvre 2017 and 2018, Artistes du Monde Cannes 2018, Le Salon d'Automne 2018, ARTEXPO New York 2019, ART CAPITAL-LE SALON DES INDEPENANT'S, Gran Palais-Paris 2019, Salon des Indépendants 21-30 juin 2019 Corée du Sud 2019, 14ÈME salon artcapital, Grand palais, du 11 au 16 février 2020, Le salon des independants. - Paris 2020 ,... Illustrations of his drawings and works were published in the journal Bilten - Religious Journal for Students and Educators (1978), in the Tretji dan (Third Day) (1991) magazine, in the journal Najina pot (Our Path), and in the poetry collection "A Handful of Grain" (2013) by FranjoSchauperl. In 2005 he attended the painting workshop by Ingrid Pototschnik in Deutschlandsberg - Austria and moved from landscape painting to abstract and symbolic artistic creation in mixed techniques.
