Ice Breaker Painting

This painting is composed by the accumulation of memory, flash, ideas, inspiration piled up on each other in the manner of automatic writing. This principle is inspired by the dada movement, which itself was taken up by the beat generation, who called it spontaneous writing. This technique makes it possible to paint the impressions felt during a moment of wandering and to create a new story. I also like to let the viewer interpret his own story. And if that interests you, here is mine ... spoiler attention! Maersk is a famous merchant shipping company. I am fascinated by these cargo ships that some call even buildings in view of their size completely surreal. Here is a container escaped from these buildings that sail by itself. Lost in an environment far from his original path, where he chose to wander worn by balloons that are his own merchandise maybe? and that allowed him to fly. The panel representing a bombyx, which is part of my totem animals, because it accompanies my nights of painting, announces the arrival to this world of night, dreams and freedom. Painting on wood fiber panel 5 mm with wooden formwork made by me that allows to hang it as is.
