"Illusion of freedom" 60×80 cm This picture is the result of thinking about this topic It reflects me as an artist and as a person with my own life position . The painting is painted in a limited palette, using colors: titanium white, ultramarine blue, Berlin blue, burnt umber, rose.As a result of interaction of a palette knife, a brush, paints on a canvas the unique pattern reflecting my thoughts and emotions was formed .The work is multi-layered, some layers I left slightly visible and transparent, this makes it possible to find more and more new forms over time and surprise yourself with finds using your imagination . The main motif is a group of brown-white smears that dissolve in a swirl of pigment from blue to rich blue . Our consciousness is the greatest illusionist, everything that is in our life, we tend to devalue and perceive as insignificant . How often do we think that we are free and live by our own principles, and do things that are made by personal decision .And then it turns out that this is an illusion that was imposed on us .

I am a self taught painter , born in a small mining town located in the East of Ukraine. In the year 2000, I moved to live in Jordan i have been painting since childhood and I consider drawing something important for myself because by doing it I'm searching for my internal balance which represented as art therapy for me and my feelings and make reconciliation with our world after my mother passed away. I'm not trying to show the world as it is for that we have cameras. painting represent my feelings, every single painting shows something I felt and thought of, all painting was done Layer upon layer whenever I felt that I have something in my mind and felt about deep inside, I release those feelings and thoughts into it and when I feel that the paint is done, I feel empty and extremely tired.
