About The Artwork
Through this artwork, Fabio Meneghella represented everything this is surreal in the world. The figures in the foreground coincide with our double’s personalities that, with closed eyes, engage the Earth in our mind. The characters’ bodies go out from a big and blue light brain, that represents our unconscious and all the dynamics hidden. The background is bicolor, made by two hot color tones that give us serenity: the blue light of the sky and the red of a world that is our reality. Fabio Meneghella’s artwork talks about dreams, but also our thoughts and our secrets. During this process, the brain is made of a lot of parts and then, a lot of figures that represent us and make us become totally free to travel in the brain. The semi-arch represents the Earth and the reality, that is a contrast with the unreality and goes out from a red sea full of love. Then, the characters can meet the magic world of the dream only taking refuge in the reality. By this artwork, Fabio Meneghella used an original style that allows the viewer to fully delve into the setting. The colors are warm and give us an interior peace. The lines are also marked in a very simple way. So, it’s possible to listen to what the artist has to tell us: the dream is a contrast between the introjection and projection. The first is a process that allows us to receive in our brain objects and feelings coming from all the world. Instead, the second one gives us the possibility to move these objects and these feelings on other people. What could we make? Simply staying with closed eyes and dreaming, while our unconscious begins to replace what we know: the world around us, the people, sea and sky become an only Earth. In the meantime, the viewer looks and imagines that his life could be exactly in that way: a brain that oscillates between dream and reality. And out, everything else. Dr Stefania Meneghella

My greatest goal is giving feelings, representing the Invisible, so what our eyes can’t see. And then, lighting the Paradise with a new light, with new colours, with new forms. Lighting also the meaning of the time, the secret of dreams, the magic of the Universe and the subatomic horizon. Everything brings a new vision of the world, because the art takes the being human and brings to him in the future, showing it previously. My artworks explore those worlds, using the knowledges learned from the italian masters of the past. So, one of my goal is to bring the italian figurative art in the next generations and to insert it in a surrealistic contest that, as a dream, appears as fruit of human fantasy. To describe what I see in my brain, I create a story to explain to the viewer trought a trilogy of works. Every artwork of mine is an “act”: there is the first, the second and the third act. In this way, I try to make people understand the meaning of my message by three works. Everything happens by the purpose of showing to the world my visions and my fantasies, because I’d like creating feelings and taking by the hand the viewer, lighting up his brain. My painting, that prefers the oil on canvas, has a scientific theme: philosophy, science and science fiction. So, everything I can’t see by eyes. My reality is unreal, because it takes me away from everything our eyes tell us to see. I don’t look through my senses, but through what I feel inside: for me this is the real reality. So, the Art for me is an outburst and an instinct that, like a drogue, communicates me what I have inside. The artist is this: pulls out all his interior world and he does it in a spontaneous way. So, he doesn’t need others things. Only Art.
