Michael Board is a British artist living and working in London. He is known for exploring natural forms and patterns through a multi-layered effect that draws on his formal training in traditional drawing and painting techniques. These pieces may be re-worked over a period of time. Michael was a Glassell Core Fellow at Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Texas and was an awards recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts, The New York Foundation for the Arts and the Lee Krasner, Jackson Pollack Foundation while living and working in the United States. He currently lives with his family in London where he has established his current studio.
