I've been a Bowie fan all my life and feel an imminent need to express the loss of such a pivotal, fiercely original and highly influential artist, over and over again. Art is not only a language, but a lifeline. In working through my own grief, losses and life's hard edges, I find myself wanting to create as a means of survival. Some of the world's greatest art was born as a lifeline for the artist, I believe.
