I am a self-taught artist living in Meridian, Idaho. After working as a carpenter, cook, filmmaker, industrial technician, etc. throughout my 20's, I reached a point (about 2 years ago) that working for the sake of work lost its meaning. I was forced to face a very important question. "Who are we, and where are we going in this ocean of chaos?" I entered an era of self discovery. This is when I got back into art (something I hadn't done since high school). I realized that it is our hearts and souls that nurture us and make us stronger. Our lives have meaning. We cannot afford to lose sight of that anymore. Working primarily with acrylic paint, my goal as an artist is to use color and shape to convey concepts that our language does not have the specific words for. A meditation for the subconscious if you will. My work is designed to touch that part of your soul where dreams are birthed from. I often refer to myself as TheOuterCircle, in reference to that circular logic trap we find ourselves caught in once we allow ourselves to think outside of the box.
