This is a painting for a Henry Darger themed show I was in. The butterfly wings are made with gold leaf, blue leaf, and red leaf, so they are reflective (which is hard to see in a flat image). The horned children at the bottom are collaged paper and inspired (or copied) from Henry Darger's drawings. The model is named Asphyxia Noir, who I worked with a few months before painting this.
