About The Artwork

Everything interacts. Gold strokes sculpted across a matte black background creating intense depth and luminosity. DETAILS: - Gold foil on sintra panel - Highly textural and reflective - The three-quarter-inch edge is foiled in gold (See photo) - The technique used to create Interactivity is one where gold foil is sculpted using an innovative process M. Clark developed. This method gives her work the distinct style she is known for - This artwork belongs to Clark’s Under Pressure series - The composition wraps around the edges of Interactivity making it visually intriguing from all angles - This work has a continuously shifting luminosity that is dependent on the viewer’s vantage point. This provides an infinitely evolving viewing experience - Signed on the side and back of the artwork - Ready to hang––no additional framing needed. A wire is attached to the back for easy installation. Bumpons added to float the piece slightly off the wall - Shipped with a signed Certificate of Authenticity

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I create dynamic conversations between constancy and chaos by sculpting malleable metals. As light interacts with the textures and shapes in my artwork, the reflective surfaces create diffuse patterns, producing a shifting luminosity, that is unique to my work. This provides the viewer with an infinitely evolving viewing experience. While my work is non–representational, the use of space, movement, and line in composition evoke emotions like peace, confidence, disquiet, or vigor. The mood of a piece might call up a memory or point in time. My creative process includes constant experimentation with materials. Each piece is created in my New York City studio over many weeks using a specialized technique that I developed. My works are owned by collectors around the world, have been featured in international publications, exhibited in the Smithsonian, and received multiple awards including an Award of Excellence from The Kennedy Center.
