About The Artwork

Intertwined Worlds The outline of the picture was a collage made in several photos. Traditionally, this reflects a cubist and surrealistic vision. The painting is a personal expressive transcript of this sketch, with the typical characters preserved. The picture shows more contradictory signs, opposing each other, creating tension in the viewer, inviting him to discover the layers of meaning. The first is the division of the image into the lower and upper spheres, symbolizing the opposite of the secular and spiritual worlds. The larger part is the secular, visible unity, where - like on a stage - events happen, it is not an exact place, it is more casual and imaginary. The road is uncertain, insecure, dreamlike, as it keeps in one direction, but as a result of the different perspective and line-up, the vanishing points are blurring. Nor is it reassuring that the road seems to lead on a mountain road serpentine on the side of the cliff face, with a few sure points just the light of the boards. Indicating that we are in an area close to civilization. The boundary between natural wilderness and human zones where anything may happen. Here, a black panther creeps out from his calmness and does not know where he is heading, but in any case, his deep black recalls the power and mystery of the lower worlds. As the red spot on the other side of the road could be the symbol of this world with intense color and its materiality is slightly embossed from the plane of the image. This emptiness, which simultaneously materializes, distracts the viewer from the image, a hole in the image's tissue. You have to look at it, look at it from several sides, interpret it: What can it be? A pool of blood was left behind by a hit deer or maybe a red skein? The exact definition is questionable. Its necessity is unquestionable. An important element of the image signal system. As the panther is drive by instinct is drifting towards the red spot, the viewer drifts into the interior of the image, and thus to his lower regions. The underground world is a world of deepening, tranquillity, stability, and infinity. The inside of the soul and in the core is working other laws. This is the world of Jungian 'Self', the intersection of self-identity and self-discovery. The symbol of this is the stag beetle, sleeping in an eternal winter dream that is not affected by secular dramas. There is no uncertainty, no fear, only self-knowledge, and self-discovery by self-exploration, as here the road is opened for a moment and the sun shines. All my paintings are treated with UV resistant lacquer. The painting is signed on the canvas back and ready to hang.

I was born in Budapest in 1977. My attraction to nature stems from the adventurous period of my childhood in the countryside. Later, my technical studies, immersion in the world of physics, and the influence of these two initial experiences formed my art. In my art, therefore, nature and everything connected with it is an important subject. It inspires my work and fills me with excitement that is behind nature and although invisible, elusive, but yet it is the driving force behind everyday events. My goal is to see through art, to capture these invisible forces, and then to incorporate them into a unique pictorial language, to make them open. My paintings are the result of collages constructed from collected photos. Since photography has always been important to me, it is an ideal starting point for making my pictures into which I like to smuggle my feelings and my everyday life full of experiences. I currently live and work in Budapest.
