""Into the Fold"" Painting

After studying a multitude of art courses, from interior design to graphic design and most things in between, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I was freshly married and moving away from my hometown on a new adventure. I couldn't predict the heartaches and joys that were waiting for me. In 2010, my husband committed suicide and left behind our three precious young boys, now looking to me for guidance. I was stuck in my devastation. But the processing I experienced when creating lifted me and allowed me to tap into a freedom. And in that space, I was gifted my signature drip method. It was an outpouring of pain and grief which presented itself, surprisingly, as beauty. Joy and pain coexist? And there is my Creator at work making it all beautiful? It sparked a fire inside to capture all the ways joyful drips can express themselves. All the glory to my God, the author of creativity.
