There are times, more and more numerous, when people, despite the fact that they have years of life in this world, in the end they claim that they have not known themselves. Introspection is the process by which we observe ...

Wanting to write about Mariana's art today, I would subtio underline the professional coherence that - in practice - has always characterized her, justified by the balanced linearity inherent in every work expressed in mixed technique and acrylic which reveals the autonomous expressive face . His is a commitment to research which, however, does not go from one place to another: never dictated by chance, shuns today's superficial and intrusive habit of others sewn to chance and appearance. The journey of each painting includes, in fact, the same 'memory' for which Marta Geirut, poet and artist who died in 2005, if she had known her, would undoubtedly have said she was 'living paper'. Tracks and paths, symbols. In Mariana Papara the signs of constant reflection unquestionably live where the vital moments, also composed of golden and silver foils, red/sacrifice wounds and abstract vibrations, lead the thought towards a pulsating tension not without intimate accents and now distant figural echoes , so as to evoke the 'mystery'. The artist continues an interesting journey interpreting his own time, here he lives on the tables and on the canvases and on the papers a lyrical thought materialized by a space / color functional to his unquestionably significant moral values. In her there is no imitation of the object or of the material, but rather a fantasy fairy image in which images of an 'I' who says and does converge, condense and citrus, in giving settled and spiritualised, almost like wanting to continuously deliver over the years the creative generosity with which she is endowed. (Lodivico Geirut) (…) His strongly communicative language is the result of many years of interdisciplinary artistic studies and experiences, and is expressed on wooden tables and installations, made with materials not only used at the service of form but conceptually employed as transmitters of memories and symbols. Ancient woods, gauze, parchment, papyrus, nails, wrapping paper, glues, temperas, acrylics and oils, thicken and clot together in material mixtures, amalgamated within a sign and gestural writing which by antithesis dematerializes their weight, relieves gravity, arouses the levitation of the soul. Refined and cultured, Mariana Papară's vocabulary springs from a conscious expressive capacity, where every sign, every trace, takes shape and translates into a visual image, following exactly the thought process it intends to express.
