Intuition Black Blue Painting

My name is Catia Goffinet and I am a Brazilian painter based in São Paulo. My art is immersed in geometric lines combined with mathematical concepts where I work with calculated paintings and at the same time I like the idea of ​​transforming geometric works into movements. I'm attracted to the idea of ​​being able to give a certain organic movement to my works even using only straight lines. I always walk through these two universes within my work: calculations (where I paint structured geometric figures) and freedom of movement (where I look for a certain organic movement). The theme of my paintings varies between the concept of Time, Parallel Universes, Multiverses and about Energy as a concept of Creation and as the force that moves life. I work with acrylic on canvas and mainly with layers of paint overlaid forming a certain idea of ​​movement and depth. Sometimes each work has hundreds of overlapping layers. This translates a bit of the idea that everything in the universe happens at the same time. For me everything in the universe is mathematical.
