This acrylic painting is part of the Island Arrival Series. The water is a constant source of inspiration for me. In these aerial pieces, ocean views with sand and islands are depicted. Each scene is inspired by flying over tropical waters, on the way to various island destinations. Each painting is layered with the illusion of watery depths. The water is finished in a high gloss resin-like finish giving this a reflective watery feel. This painting shows various shades of indigo to azure to turquoise water with sand spits and islands dotted with palm trees. At the top of the painting the water appears to drop off quickly to great depths as if on the edge of a deep blue hole or under sea cliff. The perspective is shown from straight above as if flying over the sea. This fine art painting was created on raised wood panel with a 1 inch profile. It has been professionally finished, edged in black gallery wrap, wired, and ready to hang on your wall. No need for framing. Each original arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity.
