Jack Frost Painting

Jack Frost is a character in Scandinavian and English folklore who personifies winter. The painting was made using high quality materials, professional oil paints for painting (master class), Italian stretcher canvas, size 50 x 40 centimeters. Jack's origins go back to Scandinavian mythology. There he was responsible for the winter weather and personified this cold season. Amused, he painted the windows in the houses with wonderful patterns. One day Frost saw a beautiful girl and fell in love. Jack was so intoxicated by the beauty of an earthly woman that he decided to become mortal and be near her. With such a request I came to my own father. The parent tried to dissuade his son from a dubious undertaking, operating by the fact that he would lose his magical powers. But Jack was not afraid. Feelings overshadowed his reason, and the hero was ready to become an ordinary person. And so it happened. But the happiness did not last long. His beloved was in mortal danger, and only magic could save the chosen one. Then Frost returned to his father and asked to turn him into a spirit. He regained his abilities and saved the girl. And then he remained in his usual status, because it is impossible to turn to mortals a second time. Since then, the character has been known as insensitive and angry.
