Pamela Silver is an internationally acclaimed artist with a career spanning over five decades. Working in a village near Jerusalem, her art reflects a deeply intuitive process, serving as a vivid diary of dreams, emotions, and daily life. Known for her masterful use of watercolor, Pamela’s work captures the immediacy of life with vibrant colors, fluid movement, and a profound connection to nature. Beyond watercolor, she has created an extensive body of work in monotypes, etchings and oil paintings, demonstrating remarkable versatility across mediums. Born in South Africa and raised in Zimbabwe, Pamela’s art is rooted in the bold landscapes of her childhood, sunsets, savannahs, and wildlife instilling a lifelong love of nature. Her 50 years in Jerusalem have further shaped her practice, inspired by the city’s spiritual energy, intense light, and contrasts. Living in Jerusalem, with all the intensity, complexity, and challenges of life in this unique country, deeply impacts her creativity, infusing her work with both the emotions and the profound inspiration of her environment. Her art is held in prestigious collections worldwide, including the Israel Museum, the Tel Aviv Museum, the Ben Uri Gallery and Mueum in London, and the Museu da Ãgua in Lisbon. Among her many honors, she received the 2008 Gold Medal at the Olympic Fine Art Exhibition in Beijing and was selected by Norman Ackroyd at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (2015) as one of seven outstanding artists, alongside Jim Dine. With over 90 exhibitions in museums and galleries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, including 30 solo exhibitions, her career reflects unparalleled artistic dedication. Solo shows include venues such as the Irma Stern Museum in Cape Town, the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Harari, Leighton House Museum in London, and Zaritsky Artists House in Tel Aviv. Group exhibitions span prestigious events such as the Osaka Triennial Japan, the Beijing International Art Biennale and the Royal Society of Painters-Printmakers in London. Her art represents a unique opportunity for collectors to own works of exceptional beauty, created by an artist with a celebrated international legacy.
