About The Artwork
Inspired by a visit of Machu Picchu in Peru. I was very impressed by the more than 500 years old Ice mummy of Juanita (to see in museum of Arequipa) found on the top of a 6.ooo m high vulcano in the montains from a German scientist in the 90ies. I used string colours because the culture there is fantastic colorful like the beautiful landscape in a great country with lovely poeple. It was a shame of the human race to destroy the old inka culture 500 years before. That's my symbol to remember the Inka.
