Spending many weekends on a boat on Moreton Bay definitely influenced my interest in the marine life. I like it when my acrylic pours turn out like water surface, as it makes it easy to embellish them with aquatic animals. Often, they turn out to be underwater scenes, but this pour definitely was the surface of the sea. The pour of vibrant and alluring blues was manipulation in a circular motion to create the swirls of water for the emerging dolphin. Choosing between a jumping whale or a dolphin, the dolphin won. ‘Jumping for Joy’ was created as a fluid acrylic pour using Global Acrylic Paint, Floetrol and Dimethicone on a 18cm x 36cm mdf board and is framed with a modern 26cm x 49cm white frame protected by glass and mat .It is varnished with 2 layers of Acrylic gloss. 2 D-Rings and hanging wire are attached at the back. Please note that artwork displayed in rooms are for the purpose of demonstration only and not always to the exact scale. Please check dimensions for actual size. Other frames shown in the display are a suggestion only. PLEASE NOTE: Colours can differ from monitor screens, mobile devices and tablets. A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be attached to the back of the painting. Your painting will be packed with extra care in a sturdy cardboard box and shipped out within 1-3 business days. I am a visual artist based in Brisbane, Australia with a Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Arts in Berlin and a Diploma of Visual Art from Bremer TAFE at Bundamba. I am constantly improving my skills to be an accomplished artist by visiting different workshops offered by the Logan Art Gallery. As a member of Art West Community Gallery, I am able to exhibit my works through their physical Gallery. I am also supported by online Galleries like Bluethumb and Art Lovers. and am the proud owner of the , a website where you can find a huge collection of art in different styles, themes, colours, medium, size and price. My earlier works mainly focused on still life and realism, but my latest pieces incorporate abstract fluid acrylics with traditional painting methods. Despite both styles depicting the natural world, they convey two vastly different interpretations. My earlier work is meticulous and controlled, while my current pieces celebrate the untamed and unexpected beauty of nature. In addition to my artistic endeavours, I am also exploring Acrylic Pouring and Alcohol Ink as these methods lend themself well to smaller art pieces, making them more affordable and often collectible. Small artworks can serve as the starting point for building your own art collection. Thank you for taking the time to appreciate my works.
