Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana, Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani You have the right to work only but never to its fruits. Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction Some think that they are independent in performing their actions, some are conscious of this fallacy but regardless of what one believes, there is no other possible explanation of when, where, how, who or what we are born as. The philosophy of karm or karma, how its popularly known, is central to Sanatan Dharma. Without which no other philosophy has a basis. Ancient scholors, rishis or divine seers would simply ask the seeker that if the fruits were independent of their actions then any single desire that an individual had would immediately come to fruition but we realise that this is not the case. Some people's actions immediately bear fruit while others toil endlessly and still don't derive any material reward for their hard labor. This invisible law which is constantly at work was called karm by the ancient seers. Some are aware of their actions while some are simply going through life as if only half conscious. . You may or maynot believe in this philosophy and simply be an athiest or be a believer of absurdism, but do know that believing in this philosophy would give your soul peace at put the constant hankering of your mind at rest. And peace my friends is the greatest god there is. Let there be peace in all ten cardinal directions.
