ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is part of my Visual Jazz Series, paintings that are purely inspired by music. Synaesthesia helps in the process, but a sensibility to musical improvs, cadences and rythms has been built over the years and that gets translated visually into my work as well. This painting has been exhibited in following individual exhibitions: "The Alperin Visual Jazz Affair" Exhibition (Norcenter Design Mall, Buenos Aires, 2014), "A Summer Glow" (Rapp Exhibition Gallery, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2015), "A Jazz Affair" (Naples Arts Association in conjuntion with the Naples World Festival 2016, Naples, Florida, USA), "A jazz Affair" (Fischer International headquearters, Naples, Florida, USA, 2016), "Rythm & Rhyme" Exhibition (Shangri La Resort, Bonita Springs, Florida, USA). This particular work is dedicated to Miles Davis´ iconic album "Kind of Blue". As always it is a mix of acrylic, oil based paints (solid and sprays), and printing inks.
