Kiswa is the cloth that covers the Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is draped annually on the 9th day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, the day pilgrims leave for the plains of Mount Arafat during the Hajj. The term kiswa has multiple translations, with common ones being 'robe' or ‘garment'. Due to the iconic designs and the quality of materials used in creating the kiswa, it is considered one of the most sacred objects in Islamic art, ritual, and worship.

Every child is a born artist, just like me.all of us have done scribbling on the walls in our childhood, as time passes we all grew up and focuses on our studies and career etc... And that lil' artist stays behind somewhere.. this is what happened to me... my inner artist also got left behind and i didn't pick up a paintbrush until some tragic incident happened to me,but somewhere that my inner artist helped me to surviving a traumatic event, i started painting landscapes and crafting things.. For years, I found comfort in painting.. I never knew that within me was an artist waiting to be born, but it was the best unexpected surprise a girl could have.. I found a desire to create pretty things, to paint landscapes and write a beautiful verses from quran that helps me to heal my wounds. It's a best therapy i found, it helps me to face my fears and fight against them.. For the first couple of years, i watched many YouTube videos to learned some painting techniques and searching inspirations from Pinterest.. At some point, i stoped and started to focus on developing myself as an artist and finding my own style. I've definitely been influenced by some amazing artists and started reading about them.. In time through painting and experimenting on a regular basis. I started to find myself as an artist... I spent a lot of time finding my own voice and style. I think in many ways I'm still finding my voice in every piece I paint. I'm working on range of styles, including expressionism art, modern art, calligraphy art, figurative art and portraits. Currently, i just love working with different mediums, experimenting and getting to know the characteristics of each medium... I'm mostly working with acrylics and oils and have fallen in love with the various forms of fluid art (such as acrylic pouring) that i used to paint my calligraphies background.. When i am painting, something is moving through me and it always amazes me to see the final outcome.. I strongly believe in the power of creativity to heal..
