My way of painting is the same I talk, write, move and think. It's the way I communicate. Titles are also non-ruled and a bit messy. Don't worry about the quality of the canvas, thats really good and thick. I paint the sides so you don't need a frame. A wire on backside and a personal note if you like. Wooden boxes made in our village woodfactory is faster, cheaper and stronger. Trust me: i'm fulltime passionated! All paintings are made by Marieke in her seperated big artstudio in the middle of fields. Welcome to visit! From beginning in tours to find my subjects, pictures in several seasons, sketches, search for the best pigments, experiments with glossy paint and drawing materials and black finish line. The focus of her paintings is on color and shape. Topics are chosen by the aesthetic features and capabilities. Marieke translates realistic birds, fish, butterflies and other organic forms in figurative patterns. Even static architecture and landscapes metamorphose during the painting process in expressive graphical structures and views. Paintings are characterized by the use of lacquer, chalking, transparency and layering in texture. You can also find me outside my artstudio. Wherever there's a party, I can paint that scene.
