Līgo (summer solstice) Painting

My life journey took me to the shore of the Baltic sea and I was astonished by the tameless nature of it. Here I found the absolute joy of observing colours of the sea and land, the palette I need for my art is around me, I just have to take step out of the house, walk by the sea, run through white dunes, chasing vivid shadows of flowers and trees, taking my breath on the greyish stones kissed by wild waves. My art is the way to express everything I see and feel every day so that I can capture the colours and forms my eyes seek everywhere I look. It's a way to live for me. Growing up I always had a desire to create. I studied in art-schools and art training programs since I was little, but always wanted to express myself more freely than it is expected from you when you are a student. I had an experience working at the restoration workshop for music instruments, repairing instruments and decorating them. Later I worked for several years as a content creator for jewellery and interior brands and a freelance designer, creating visual content for social media such as collages, animation, illustrations, still photography. I'm happy to find myself as a full-time artist right now expressing myself from my paintings.
