On the canvas, the paint mixed with concrete offers a solid base creating a defined memory, bequeathed or imposed. This memory, like its effects, I stretch, shrink, brush and paint it playing with it and all related souvenirs. This lengthy process uses History and creates memory holes. Comes the time to rewrite, rebuild and then embellish the past to create an happy renewal to come. You won’t find here a rational explanation to this painting but an incomplete set of keys matching locks sometimes hidden or voluntarily forgotten in us in the other. Reminding us that the human is fragile constantly in search of oneself. “Untitled Blue” is a snapshot in the form of a dyptique bringing forward the essential link between our Spirit and our soul.
