I was born in Gisors and I live in Lille in the North of France. My artistic universe is very varied. Each of my creations has its own story, it reflects a moment or a situation that challenges me. We live in a world where everything is accelerating, some subjects touch me deeply. Through my creations, my priority is to incite respect, especially for women... I am one! but also for species and environments. To give meaning and interest to this diversity, because each life has its unique identity and participates in the diversity of existence. Like a living textile, for me everything is linked. For a long time, I worked with oil glazes on walls, I imitated materials, wood, stone, various textures, I also made frescoes, illusionary decorations for different clients. Sometimes I respond to calls for projects that inspire me, for architects, decorators or for events. At the same time I have always pursued my personal creation. I draw, I write, I illustrate and I paint, whatever the support, on canvas, wall, paper or other... For several years now, I have been using only water-based mediums: acrylic, paint, aerosol, felt-tip pens, ink, natural pigments, coloured pencils in small touches to enhance the lights or shadows. For the protection of the work I use acrylic varnish. As for my choice of colours, I have had different periods, all depending on the emotion I feel or the message I wish to express. I can go from black & white to bright red, from colours to monochrome. Depending on the subject, I work in shaded areas and other uniform areas. What is also important for me is to choose the format according to my project as well as the framing and the style of graphics. Red is very often present in my works, I try to express what goes or what doesn't go... Apart from its use in my drawings, I painted my first large red canvas "In Vitro" after reading Tahar Ben Jelloun's book, "This blinding absence of light" which tells the story of a man suspended between life and death and his emotional struggle to resist the fall. By touches or dominant, powerful, luminous or garish, it is for me, a symbolic and universal colour, that of the living... It is almost everywhere in my work on women, global warming, the protection of ecosystems... In limited edition, I have also published 2 books on my own account and I make art prints of my original works.
