LOVE TO FUCK Painting

Artist Bio Nicholas Tramontin Born: San Francisco 1984 Inspired by heartbreak, love and addiction to connection I am driven by speed and movement. Riding a wave on a surfboard or shifting gears in a fast car, the connection to both machine and Mother Earth I feel there is a connection with natural and unnatural. My art is my heart trying to make sense of what my eye sees.  It is as if I were a time traveler; a Romantic from the 18th century dropped into our modern, chaotic world.  As far back as I remember, anxiety has dogged my steps, but rather than recoil from it, I am painting my way through it.   In these pieces, I am looking for portals and for gaps in time.  I am looking for spaces in colors, and for shapes that might be a life force, or perhaps a way to reconnect to that place I have been in my other life.  I offer these pieces as my signposts
