"LA CIOTAT, Solstice" Painting

I am a visual artist whose creative journey has been shaped by transformation, resilience, and a constant desire for renewal. For many years, I worked with hot enamel on copper — a rare and demanding medium that profoundly influenced my perception of color, texture, light, and depth. When I moved to France and no longer had access to the specialized equipment required for this practice, a new chapter of my artistic life began, leading me to devote myself fully to painting on canvas.

Today, my work explores the dialogue between graphic structure and tactile texture, abstraction and recognizable form, vibrant color and deep shadow. I am fascinated by contrasts and by the delicate balance between spontaneity and intention — a creative tension that often feels like walking a tightrope between instinct and control. Through layered surfaces, relief elements, expressive brushwork, pastels, and bold black lines, I seek to convey emotion, inner landscapes, and the quiet narratives that emerge from intuition.

Recurring themes in my work include the human figure, nature, landscapes, and cats, alongside playful explorations of texture and materiality. I draw inspiration from the rhythms, forms, and tactile beauty of the natural world while remaining faithful to my own visual language — one that combines depth, graphic clarity, and a strong sense of material presence.

Alongside my studio practice, I have completed numerous mural and decorative painting projects for both private and public spaces in France, Montenegro, and Russia, including restaurants, hotels, private residences, and artistically designed interiors.

Today, I live and work in Marseille, France, and throughout the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, continuing to explore new formats, materials, and artistic directions. Each new series represents a step in an ongoing journey — a deeper exploration of both myself and the world that surrounds me.
