Contact us.My art reflects my deep connection to nature and my belief in the importance of preserving our environment. Through a blend of different mediums and techniques, I strive to capture the beauty and fragility of life, particularly through the portrayal of birds in their natural habitats. Each scene I choose to create carries a specific mood and atmosphere, telling a story that emphasizes the dichotomy between preservation and destruction. My process involves a combination of traditional techniques from the past and modern tools from the present, resulting in artwork that is both timeless and contemporary. Ultimately, my work is a celebration of life and a reminder of the urgency to protect our planet for future generations.
It was by collecting works of art that Estelle came to pick up the paintbrush. Like many beginners, YouTube was her first source of learning. When she realized she wanted to do more than a hobby, she looked for more structured training. She now works from her studio in Montreal, Quebec and has works all over the world.
Although she often uses a mixture of techniques and materials such as pastels, acrylic and collage, oil is her preferred material.
In her works, Estelle seeks to achieve a delicate balance between realism and abstraction. His subjects all have in common the search for harmony to survive chaos, whether that of our daily lives or that in which the world and the planet are plunged.
Each canvas is designed from a few photographs reworked on software to create what serves as Estelle's initial sketch. What mainly attracts her is playing with different forms to create new ones that have their own message. Depending on the case, she will work either only in oil or with layers of pastel, acrylic and oil.
