Ladies in the Lemon Bowl (2024) Ladies in the Lemon Bowl is an ode to sister-hood, cohesion, and independence. We are all individuals - different, distinctive, contrasting - but beings at the same time. Through color, play, texture, and movement we can explore this paradox in what it means to live, feel, and be. By expanding our conception of humanness, empathy and connection can cultivate and grow. Like lemons in a lemon bowl. Oil paint, acrylic paint, and pastel on wood-framed canvas. Finished in January, 2024 in Seattle, WA by the artist.
