ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Lagoons ; Those shallow bodies of water that are protected, isolated and a haven for wildlife, offering respite for all those that encounter them. These overlapping canvas compositions are a patchwork of sand and pebbles, vegetation and waters. They were created outside, in the salt filled air, off the shore of Rtina, in Croatia. Rtina is located on the southern part of the Velebit Channel, connected to the island of Pag and opposite the Mountain of Velebit. It is a most peaceful and intriguing part of the country. Acrylic and ink on high quality canvas. UV protective varnish finish. The piece can be displayed in 4 ways, as the viewer sees best. Artwork is signed on back of painting.
