This is a study for a very large street painting. Lakkos means pit in Greek. The painting was done from a photo taken in the 1930s when the area of Lakkos, Heraklion, Crete was swinging. Lakkos is now a very neglected area but is going through a rejuvenation that is very exciting! There is no money in Greece right now but local artists are making this happen. One of the photos is the actual street art image.
