In this painting, I have created a calm and serene atmosphere through imaginary creatures in a desolate landscape. I created this work between 2015 and 2021. The woman, who represents the night and dreams, appears traveling on top of an imaginary creature. This character symbolizes the slowness of time in dreams. It becomes more evident when they invoke childhood fantasies. The resemblance to turtles and the “Pokemon” type illustrations are essential to reinforce the idea. This painting is part of the series “Fantasies of time.” Overview of the painting Woman reading a book about hope after the storm.
