ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This dramatic triptych consists of three 30" x 40" canvases. They may be hung with several inches in between the canvases, which would increase the overall width accordingly. Described as an otherworldly landscape by one viewer, and an expressive urban chalkboard by another, this work was inspired by the idea of journeys. Whether we are traveling the world, imagining life in other galaxies, or exploring our own inner realms, our paths are created by each step that we take. As we carry on our individual journeys, I believe we subconsciously transmit information about ourselves—our interior lives are reflected in our exterior lives. In this way, we are all radiators. And so the question becomes: What do you want to radiate? All of my work is created using high quality paints and mediums. This painting is sealed with a UV protective matte acrylic varnish, gallery-wrapped with black hand-painted edges, wired and ready to hang.
