ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This abstract work was inspired by current times and waiting for the light to again shine through. I love the music of Leonard Cohen and as I listened to his words 'there is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in' I painted to the words of his poetry. This work is also inspired by Gerhard Richter..his work continues to play a role in my passion. Also inspired by Frank Bowling, his depth of paint on the canvas and blending of bright colours.
