About The Artwork
All seven feet of creative freedom! Full of contrasts in colour and style. Liberty. No road map. No rules. Free to create. Organic. Soft. Hard. Linear. Layered. Graphic. Floral. Abstract. Nature. Grafitti. Blue on blue. Calm. Energetic. Unapologetically colourful. Always positive. I began this painting as I usually do – intentionally – without a clear direction. I happened to be packaging up a painting shipment around the time that I was about half way through the work. I had not seen the painting that I was shipping in a while, and was really enjoying seeing it again, and the colours in it, with the predominance of blue. This work is definitely influenced by Frida 18, who was in my field of view for a couple of days. While you decide that this painting is for you, I will lovingly hang it in my home gallery in my very inviting stairwell. .. This canvas will be shipping in a tube, as the crate would be overly large. I can also include the stretch bars for your framer – you would just need to let Saatchi know. Enjoy!
