In my latest works, I try to settle accounts with the past related quite strongly to the concept and role of 'religion' in my life. Religion as a system and religion as the sphere of the sacred. Connected with the spirit, often also binding the human spirit. Its 'vertical' (divine) dimension remains unchanged, while the 'horizontal' (human) dimension is often a space for manipulation, play, tarnished emotions and lost time. I also explore my experience of broadly understood 'motherhood' and stories related to women's endurance.
Painting is for me like a 'tunnel' through which the words, dreams and thoughts fly and become the body - the spoken word in colour and form.
