Life is an adventure... Loving someone is an adventure... We all have fears, but the only way is to be brave together. So let's take out our gear, find a spot, set our tent and accompany each other through life's wilderness... Life's a camp!!!

Attraction to color and texture have always been an innate quality of my personality. Almost intuitively, I understand and see the world as a permanent expression of colors. To me, every person has, as personal as their unique name and last name, a particular color. This is the most genuine form of communicating a feeling and understanding what surrounds us. Painting has been the main way to explore and manifest all feelings and life situations: all those brief moments that freeze in time and tell a story of their own. With a major in Industrial and Systems Engineering by Tec de Monterrey en Guadalajara, the focus of my professional path was on manufacturing and processing of materials. During my time in the industry, I mastered metal-transformation processes (mostly) and observed different metal alloys in various states and physical shapes. My artwork clearly and profoundly reflects this: it creates a space where aesthetics and art fuse along with non-ordinary materials in their roughest, toughest or even refined state. As an engineer, it became inevitable to notice the beauty within materials considered ordinary or industry-related; sometimes even labeled as scrap. In my point of view this is merely a lack of perspective, impeding art admirers to find beauty within the metal transformation: just as we usually miss to look at changes and pain derived from human transformation with awe and fascination. At the same time, I kept creating art all along. Sometimes, during some professional projects art was also a variable allowing me to integrate both disciplines and ways. Starting 2016, I started to showcase my portfolio in several online platforms and exhibitions. This event was, mostly, about exposing myself and artwork to the reaction of the audience and viewers; which represented a challenge for me since I am a self-made artist. Certainly the first sold artworks were much of a surprise, although I have come to understand that not artists must necessarily go through formal art education.
