In this new body of work, i chose to be reductive in the shapes and colors in a new way. Using the tessellation of Truchet Tiles at same scale and only five colors. Referring to Daedalus, the labyrinth and thinking about symbolism behind the myth and how today we go back to this pattern by choice. We often, as artist, have a look on our surroundings and think of the way to interpret or even read a situation. And this sentence came to me : if there is no way in, there is no way out. shuffling this idea to the extreme and sketching these lines until I got this shape. Its not infinite loop, it's not a labyrinth, It is a way to look at things while chaos circle around us and forget about it for a minute or two. As usual, order in chaos, and vice versa. we need to create a new reality or landscape to the chaos surrounding us, look at the unseen, lost ourselves and find balance. Original abstract painting Acrylic on canvas large scale painting abstract painting for sale reductive color palette with secondary colors harmony to create a labyrinth, abstract landscape with cobalt blue, magenta, purple and spring green. background is light blue. (pantone can be sent for home adjustment purpose) Signed on the reverse 7 cm on all sides to be stretched on a frame.

Israel
French-Israeli artist, lives and works in Tel Aviv. Graduated from the fine arts of Paris (ENSBA),LVMH young artist award 2006, TAKASAGO prize 2008. She believes that order in chaos leads to an equilibrium of harmony. Jessica ’s corpus of art is an infinite voyage. Her calling never discovers a termination. Light is an exceptional commodity for her, the infinite evolution of colors, untangible moment of grace, and interactions with architecture. her process starts by translating this reflection and materialize them in shapes, lines and color harmonies She builds utopian architecture (mindscape) where she unveils impossible geometry. Her art-objects are keys to new dimensions, a new approach of colors. the structures display optical illusion that distract us from rational thinking and logic. Her art is inspired by former Bauhaus artists like Josef Albers. Jessica lives in Tel Aviv, where the traces of this movement are still to be found in the city architecture. Albers inspired Moritz to consider herself profound with the theory of color. Her inquiry led to an inspirational mission to flourish a very own attitude to this optical material. She believes in a sustainable way of producing her art. In consideration of climate change, she reclaims materials to use the existing. She gathers material on her trips and transforms them during a magical process into a new purpose. She tries to avoid a replacement out of senseless consumerism.
