Light on the Horizon Painting

A serene and expressive oil painting, depicting a blue sky over an expansive, winter landscape. This painting captures the cool, wintery countryside, using an elegant, calming palette of natural browns, greys and pale blues. The smooth, light foreground forms a contrast to the darker fields stretching beyond, with a blended band of trees reaching across the middle of the artwork. A dark, rugged horizon, suggests buildings or distant trees, but this is left to the viewers imagination.
