I am a self-taught artist whose work is characterized by vibrant color palettes, bold brush strokes, and pieces that evoke an emotional connection to the subject matter. I was born in a very small place, lived in very large places, and much like Goldie Locks settled in a middle place, Toledo, Ohio. Although I have been told I should, I don't regret not having any formal training as I think it led me to develop my own unique style, which art collectors, art curators, and galleries seem to like. Over the years, I have become known for my portraits of Big Beautiful BBW women, and cats, and for painting vintage photos. I also get inspired by meeting new people and the conversations and situations that ensue. I like to do 1-minute art shows online for people with short attention spans. My work can be found in private collections and galleries around the world. When you look at my art - you're seeing the world through my eyes, for just a bit. But also you're adding what your own eyes see - so maybe that makes us friends.
